While we all got used to using the computer mice's right-click function, knowing keyboard shortcuts to perform different computer tasks helps you save time in doing your work. Working on your computer with both hands being functional leads to efficiency and more work done.
Whether you are using a Mac or Windows computer, below are list of the most common and useful keyboard shortcuts.
Windows
- Ctrl+A - Select all the items in a particular window.
- Crtl+C - Copy the selected text or image.
- Ctrl+V - Paste the copied text or image.
- Ctrl+X -Cut the highlighted text or item.
- Ctrl+Z - Undo your previous action.
- Ctrl+Y - Redo an action.
- Shift+Enter - Move the cursor to another line below to create a new paragraph/sentence.
- Alt+Tab - Switch between open windows or apps.
- Ctrl+Plus sign - Zoom In
- Ctrl + Minus sign - Zoom Out
